Cowbell Hero 1.1 Out Friday May 10th!

Cowbell Hero version 1.1 will be available on the App Store Friday, May 10th!

New Features Include:

Update to Universal app – now supports native resolution on iphone, ipad, and iphone 5.
Play Movie mode – you can now watch all the story cutscenes and skip between chapters once you have beaten the story.
In game tutorial shown the first time you play a song after installing the game.

Also Cowbell Hero Jams the lighter version will be available for $0.99. This version includes 15 original tracks like “More Cowbell” that you can jam along to. This is a much smaller download which does not include the licensed music or story mode. Download this version to get a taste of what Cowbell Hero has to offer!

Pixel Artist Wanted!

We are looking for an artist who specializes in 2D, Pixel style graphics, NES Style for a new, unannounced game we are working on. This game is going to be a lot of fun. We are already working on it so the sooner you can join us the better. You do not need to live in the Nashville area. The work can be done remote. Score Con 3

Score Con 3 is now a wrap. Thanks to the Score of Cool Springs for inviting us to the event, and thanks to everybody that stopped by and played Cowbell Hero. We had a good crowd of people playing the game and everybody seemed to really enjoy it being there.

It was also one of the games featured in the Video Game Olympics so the high scores on “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” factored into everybody’s overall rankings for that event!

Having attended the previous two Score Con events I can say that this was my favorite. The location was great, and the guest speakers were very entertaining. If you are in the Middle Tennessee area you should plan to attend Score Con 4.

MTAC 2013

MTAC 2013 was a blast. Thanks to everybody that stopped by and played Cowbell Hero. We had a steady stream of people all weekend and everybody had very positive things to say about the game. For the people who entered in our drawing we will select the winners tomorrow.

We saw some great costumes. We saw a dance off between two Deadpools. There was a Harlem Shake by the Dr Who booth next to us. There was Para Para. There were people battling with foam swords. Multiple DJs in the exhibitor hall and a Rave on Saturday. That is MTAC. If you weren’t there you missed out.

Guess What?? Cowbell Hero has been submitted to the App Store! After almost three years in development and with the help of many people the app has been sent to Apple for approval. We could see it for sale as early as next weekend. Thanks for everybody’s hard work in making this happen.
